The Idea That Started It All
Wildfire Protective Systems was founded by tradesmen who looked at one of the most urgent problems in America — millions of homes defenseless against wildfires — and saw a practical, buildable solution that no one had brought to market.
Lead inventor Ramiro Trigo, a master welder with over 20 years of precision fabrication experience, conceived and developed the core system — drawing on the same skills he has used to privately design and build hauling trailers throughout his career. That combination of structural engineering, systems thinking, and hands-on construction knowledge produced a wildfire defense system that is durable, installable, and manufacturable at a verified real-world cost.
Co-inventor Juan Pablo Delgadillo Quintero brought 20+ years of construction industry knowledge to refine the design into something that could be installed on real homes without drilling a single hole through the roof. Together with Maxx Ramirez — who brings 30 years of management and business development experience — the team has built a patented product ready for market.

Verified Cost Basis
$6,000 per unit cost is based on actual quotes from local material suppliers and labor — not projections. Built and priced by people who build things for a living.
Why Central Valley?
Fresno and the surrounding Central Valley are ground zero for California wildfire risk. This is not an abstract problem for this team — it is the community they live in and are building for.

The mind behind the WFP. Ramiro is a master welder with 20+ years of precision fabrication experience who has privately designed and built hauling trailers throughout his career. That combination of structural engineering knowledge, systems thinking, and real-world construction expertise produced a wildfire defense system that is durable, installable, and manufacturable at a verified cost. The invention begins and ends with his hands-on trade expertise. As the primary inventor, Ramiro's 20 years of working with metals, pipes, brackets, and adhesive systems directly informed every design decision in the WFP patent.
Co-inventor on the WFP utility patent application. Juan Pablo brings 20+ years of hands-on construction industry experience to the team — knowledge of building systems, materials science, installation practices, and real-world structural requirements that directly shaped the WFP design into a product that can be reliably built, professionally installed, and successfully scaled. His construction background ensures that what works on paper also works on an actual roof in the field.
