Pitch angel networks and SBIR grant applications using full investor package. Target seed round close by Month 6.

Month 4–5

Manufacturing Partner

Qualify 2–3 manufacturers. Negotiate to lock in verified cost basis. Confirm production timeline and supply chain.

Month 5–6

Build 10 Pilot Units

Install on 3–5 volunteer homes in Fresno/Central Valley. Document performance and gather homeowner testimonials.

UL Certification, Insurance Deal & First 100 Sales

Month 6–8

UL / NFPA Testing

Submit for UL listing and NFPA compliance. Certification unlocks insurance market acceptance and retail distribution channels.

Month 8–10

Insurance Pilot Deal

Approach State Farm, AAA, or regional CA insurer for a 50–100 home pilot program. First recurring volume revenue channel established.

Month 10–12

First 100 Unit Sales

Achieve first 100 commercial installations. Commercial viability fully proven. Begin retail channel discussions with Home Depot and Lowe's.

500 Units Per Year & Series A Readiness

Month 12–15

Retail Channel

Home Depot and Lowe's statewide CA distribution discussions. Target SKU listing in CA, OR, and TX markets first.

Month 14–16

Licensing Conversations

Outreach to Kidde, Tyco, and SimpliSafe for licensing or OEM partnership. Open passive royalty revenue stream.

Month 16–18

Series A Ready

Strong gross profit run rate + secured patent + insurance deal = positioned to raise growth capital for national expansion across all WUI states.
